Awarded a Fellowship to meditate with Buddhist Monks

Well the universe does work in mysterious ways.

On the day of my trip to Poland to spend a week with Kabbalists, visiting the graves of the masters, attending a few lectures, and experiencing shabbat for the first time, I received an email from Peace Revolution telling me that I have been nominated for a fellowship to meditate with with Buddhist monks in Turkey.

The funny thing is that I discovered both Kabbalah University and Peace Revolution at the same time last year. It’s therefore quite intriguing that I get an opportunity to meet with the individuals associated with both accounts, in the same month, less than a week apart.

I am very excited. My Kabbalah trip was overwhelming, but it opened my mind and heart. I am hoping this trip would ground and center my spirit, to help me reconnect or perhaps recognize the timeless force uniting us.

And as Prophet Muhammad said:

It is narrated on the authority of ‘Abdullah b. Mas’ud that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed:

None shall enter the Fire (of Hell) who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of Iman and none shall enter Paradise who has in his heart the weight of a mustard seed of pride.
(Sahih Muslim 91 b)

Time to expunge all ego and cling to only faith.
